To ensure that the code have successfully been entered, go back to your account and make sure that you see a ‘Tracking Data’ next to your blog’s URL. Once you don’t see such words then something is not right. If hours has passed and it still doesn’t have the “Tracking Data’ words then you just have to delete the code you have entered and do the process again.
