Google banned site( The Best Web Hosting Service )If you’re working on a website, one thing that you would like is that your site will be visited by many people. And to get visited by a large volume of users, one way is to get high in the search rank of Google. And there are many ways and techniques on raising up your rank on the Google search list. Raising your rank will help you get your site visited a lot more often. But there are some techniques, when applied, would cause your site to drop off the charts like an anchor. And some of these techniques are so simple that they are sometimes referred to as “common mistakes”. So, what are these techniques?

Cloaking – it’s a technique that tricks users which is a 100% chance of getting your site banned by Google. It’s by designing your website wherein Google will see your page differently from what a visitor would see once he open up your site. It’s basically hiding your original page and content from Google and shows them a fake page/content. It’s just like clicking on a link that talks about World War I but directs you to a gambling sites that even gives your computer malicious content like worms and trojans.

Unwanted programs – there are sites once visited, will automatically install trojans and worms on your computers without notifying you. And in some cases, it will even use your device to route you to another page which you never wanted to visit in the first place.

Keywords – there are different techniques which involve keywords that will cause your site to get banned by Google. One of them is by hiding keywords on your site. For instance, you want to visit a site that talks about culinary arts, and yet when you open a site it talks about being a pilot. And you’ll notice that in that site that talks about being a pilot, the word cooking or culinary arts are repeatedly shown yet they are highlighted and the font colors are change into the color of the page background. But never forget, that though this can fool a naked eye, but with Google, they can see the words clearly.  This can even be referred as keyword stuffing or hidden text on a site.

There’s another technique of using keywords which, not only will get your site get banned, you might even get sued for copyright violation. It’s by spamming and copying keywords just to direct every search to your site. Worst, you’re copying your competitor’s keyword just to direct traffic to you. This will cause your site to get banned and sued by your competitors.

Duplicating your content – it is by having multiple pages with the same content. Duplicating too much content can get your site banned by Google.

Bad Links – this is a technique where you link your site to another site, which, happen to have a bad record with Google. This could cause your site to disappear in Google and worse, get banned. Just because somebody linked your site to their site, it doesn’t mean that you should link their site too. It is true that you need to be a good neighbor, but at most such practice would harm your site.  Google likes 1 way links not link trades.

Write your own content – there are programs, or better known as robots, where they write your site by making multiple copies of your pages and paraphrasing the content. Beware, Google is good at catching such tactics. Just write your own contents. It won’t hurt you in writing your own.

These are the most “common mistakes” that website editors and HTML programmers need to watch out for. It’s so hard to get a better rank yet so easy to get banned. So, choose your techniques wisely.
