FatCow’s FeaturesFor $66/dollars a year (regularly $88), Fatcow offers affordable hosting with no setup fees. They include Web Site Builder, Web Analytics Tools, Frontpage Extensions. They are integrated with Google Custom Search and Google Webmaster Tools, too. Their web hosing service comes with unlimited POP mailboxes. However, their web hosting service does only use Linux, which a handful of web hosting companies, use both Linux and Windows.
FatCow uses vDeck 3.0 as their hosting control panel. This is the best cPanel, which is very user friendly. As far as programming, they support it all; PHP 4 & 5, CGI directory, MySQL, Python, and script library. You get unlimited disk space, bandwidth, domains per account, too. FatCow also backs their great service up with a 30 day, no questions asked money back guarantee.
FatCow’s Customer ServiceTheir customer service is great; web-hosting providers should take a page out of their book. They have integrated an updated “system notices board” into their site. This is great because customers can receive updates about outages or routine maintenance they’re performing. Also, they will place updates on pricing policies or terms under their news section. Using this great structure, allows us to get the answers to our questions easily. Furthermore, their staff is easy to work with, and sorts out any issues you might have in a timely manner.
FatCow’s PerformanceFatCow only uses the latest server technology. FatCow uses something called “load balance technology” which allows their servers redundancy. What this does it stores your website on a handful of servers, which boost your viewing speed. Performance is not an issue with FatCow.
The Bottom Line On FatCowWe recommend FatCow, they are a cut above the rest. They support everything a web hosting company should. They have "gone green" so you are doing mother nature a favor when you use their hosting. We do recommend them for blog hosting, as well. They offer great share hosting, as well. Their customer service is very, very good. They offer cheap hosting that support unlimited POP email accounts, bandwidth, and space. Their performance and reliability is great.
