InMotion is a highly evolving company that was started in 2001. They have accumulated a number of awards over the last 10 years from the-best-web-hosting-service.com and other web hosting review sites. I boast about there business class hosting, dedicated servers, VPS, excellent customer service, ect. InMotion proudly displays there A+ Better Business Bureau rating and a perfect rating from CNET, which shows they can be trusted and can simply deliver a great service for your website.

In this full InMotion review I will highlight why I highly recommend and praise there business.

Features

Shared

There shared hosting plans are actually called "personal/cheap" hosting because it is really the most minimal plan. With this package you can start with it and and always upgrade to a "business class", VPS or dedicated package. I would recommend starting with this if this is your first website. They have three packages "Starter" ($3.00/month), "Basic" ($4.00/month), and "Max" ($5.00/month). Please note that "Max Speed Zone Enabled" is not offered with service as it is a barebone plan.

Business Class Hosting

This is what I like to call a beefed up shared hosting package. You can either get the "Launch" ($5.95/per month), "Power" ($7.95/month), or the "Pro" ($13.95/month). These are great because they all come with "Max Speed Zone Enabled", full website builders, FTP, the whole nine yards. I actually used to use the 'Business Class Hosting" on a number of my websites before upgrading to VPS and dedicated servers with InMotion. At any time you wish to upgrade or downgrade InMotion has a department that specializes in importing/exporting your databases and moving your files for you. There is no need to worry about a loss of information because they configure your server the same way you had it, which really makes it a painless process. VPS (Virtual Private Server)

This is what most advanced webmasters will use. You have the option from choosing from three different plans which are full managed and provide you with root access to your servers configurations. The VPS plans offered at InMotion are the "VPS-1000" ($39.95/month), "VPS-2000" ($64.95/month), and the "VPS-3000", ($129.95/month). The good thing about InMotion is they are always upgrading there servers hardware with the latest and greatest so you are always up there with the latest technology. One thing I do want to make a note of with there VPS packages you are going to need to spend $50 a year to have them install cPanel on your server. Other companies like Hostgator will charge you a monthly fee of $10/month for this. When you go with InMotion that is a savings of $70/year.

Dedicated

A dedicated server will ensure that your data is kept safe on the highest level while performing at maximum speed. You can have access to root access and you'll have full access to your servers configurations. Unlike the VPS package InMotion gives you cPanel for free. There prices for there dedicated servers are as follows; "Essential"($199.95/month), "Advanced"($229.95/month), and "Elite" ($299.95/month).

Max Speed Zone Enabled

This is a unique service that is included in all there packages. A big selling point that I think a lot of people seem to overlook. InMotion has an extensive amount of technical knowledge that understand that our sites loading time is very important to providing the user a great experience (on our sites). Without getting to technical about SEO on you, just know that Google heavily factors the websites loading time in to where you rank. Moreover, when you are located in Houston, Texas and run a local home remodeling service it's advantageous to have your datacenter located in the midwest. "Max Speed Zone Enabled" is a great feature to have and InMotion delivers it with all packages except there two starter ones.

Uptime

Uptime with InMotion is simply amazing. I have been with them for over 3 years and in all three years I haven't noticed any downtime other than 5 minutes at a time. Usually this happens because they are resetting there servers or doing some server maintenance. Moreover, it doesn't happen during the day and the only reason I noticed there downtime was because SiteUpTime.com reported this once in three month.

Customer Support

InMotion's customer service has far exceeded my expectations. Not that I have had to contact them much because everything runs flawlessly 99.99% of the time. They did a have a "deface" attack six months ago where oversees hackers highjacked there server and changed all of the homepages to something like "hacked by such and such". InMotion took care of it right away by replacing my index file with one that was created 12 hours ago. No data loss or anything other than about 20 minutes where InMotion found the resolution to the problem quickly.

If you ever need to get ahold of InMotion its very easy to do. You can call them on the phone, live chat, or even send them a support ticket. Typically, I just start a live chat and be sure to have my credit card number on file for verification reasons and my hosting password. It's a breeze and they really do an excellent job at making sure you are taken care of. No complaints or issues with there customer support.
