serverpronto reviewServerPronto is a dedicated hosting subsidiary started in January 1999, by Infolink. Its' server experts built and maintained the servers and computer network for ten years. It provides quick, reliable servers that are needed in operating Internet. All servers are secured and reinforced in a data centers. They offer redundant power, lightning fast fiber connection and 24x7x365 support to its customers. They offer all the similar support that their competitors Hostgator will offer. In this ServerPronto review, I will show you why I don't recommend their service.

ServerPronto Features

ServerPronto contains low cost servers with numbers of OS and control panel options. Like Lunarpages ServerPronto should be able to handle anything you desire out of a web hosting company. It is a cheap server, but there are lots of extra charges for cPanel, a managed firewall and extra bandwidth that made it quite expensive when it is all said and done. They offer operating systems such as Red Hat, Fedora, Free BSD, Debian, Suse, Gentoo, OpenBSD, CentOS, Ubuntu and Windows with fee.

The server cost $29.95 per month, $69 for set up fee and increases up to $249.95 per month, $149 for set up fees. However, other hosting companies such as InMotion will offer you free set up, rather than charging you. The problem is, their customers are complaining they are getting continuous charges even if they cancelled their accounts, and are being asked for payments. Doesn't really make that much sense.

Support

ServerPronto offers Internet connectivity through T-1, DS-3 or fiber optics at 10 or 100Mbps speeds at discounted rates. You can equip your business with connectivity add-ons like Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), Network Address Translation (NAT), firewalls, and router configurations.

ServerPronto's customer support took almost 18 hours to reboot the server when it was locked up (which was previously reported). They don’t have live support for an immediate ticket and their customers have to leave a message for any request. There is lots of paper work that is needed to be faxed, before your account will be closed, and there have even been several reports on charges for several hundreds of dollars. It just seems to be a huge hassle to cancel your account.

Many say this is a fraud company because of its poor technical support and billing errors. It contains huge bugs, and their support is full of hidden charges. The worst about it, when you want to ask about your troubles on their server they asked for $15 for a request ticket for any questions. Seriously, you can ask all the questions your heart desires and Hostgator won't charge you one penny for it.

Uptime

ServerPronto provides a 100% dedicated hosting uptime guarantee, which they seem to honor. They use high-performance bandwidth that provides reliable IP connectivity possibility and even offer cloud hosting. There are no major problems on ServerPronto for downtime.

Bottom Line

You can be satisfied with their services for the first 3 months but the next month you will surely faced billing troubles. Trust me! There are a number of problems, such as, getting help when you need it. There are a lot of holes in ServerPronto's service. I would highly recommend that you look into another company to suit your web hosting needs.
